Shakespeare has inspired great theatre-players and movies actors and actresses in the world .Now , it is officially stated that Dr Amitabh Bachchan is playing King lear which will be an adaptation of this Elizabethean play,King Lear. The director is Rituparno Ghosh from Bengal who is said to be planning to shoot this movie.
King Lear remains a powerful play which inspires world wild film directors . Akira Kurazawa adapted it for the same reason and King Lear became in Japenese version RAN.I also happened to meet Robin Bhat ,screenwriter and Vishal Bharadwaj, the director of Omkara in Marrakech FIFM, to talk about the film which is also an adaptation of Shakespeaare Play Othelo .( Allal El Alaoui)
