Pity , Fear and Catharsis

Why do we tell stories ? what role  does stories play in human experience ? Stories infects the soul of Man and stimulates into sheer tasteful happiness . In his 335 BCE book called the poetics, Aristotle suggested that  our stories make art to achieve catharsis . Catharsis literary means purging the body or soul  and therefore outhrows emotion .
Aristotle used this term as a metaphor for emotions .He suggested we naturally develop an emotional blockage so Art helps us purge excessive emotion via pity and fear .So, this is a sophisticated  matter to explain the word in culture .it is a sort of how our mind works and externalize information.
